Asst. Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager (Sales & Business Development)
Experience: 2-7 years in any freight forwarding company
Role & Responsibility:
Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities with potential clients, including freight forwarders and shippers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
Explore and evaluate new business opportunities.
Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes affecting the logistics sector.
Negotiation on the freight rates with carriers/ feeders.
Develop relations and business with carriers/ feeders.
Try to explore new areas of business in terms of sectors and carriers.
Analysis of given targets and plan of action
Work on the cost to provide sharp rates with profit guidelines.
Push and support locations for volume business.
Maintain weekly report on inquiries generated vs business secured.
